It is possible that your site does appear in the listings and that SE Commando is not recognizing it because a driver needs to be updated. If you think this may be the case, right-click on the search engine in SE Commando, then choose Notify me when this search engine is updated from the popup menu. Enter your email address and click OK. This will alert our team that the search engine requires immediate attention. You will receive an automatic email notification when the driver is updated.
Other common causes include:
1. Misspelling the domain name in the Enter URL's list. SE Commando uses "smart-search" technology that automatically recognizes URL's and domain names. If your site appears in the listings as "http://yoursite.com" instead of "http://www.yoursite.com", SE Commando will still pick it up. If your URL is misspelled, however, SE Commando will not be able to locate it in the listings.
2. Including the page name or product name in the URL in the Enter URL's list.
3. Specifying a subdirectory name in the URL (e.g., "http://www.yoursite.com/subdirectoryname/index.html"). If that particular page does not appear exactly in the listing, SE Commando will not pick it up. In general, we recommend that you also enter just the domain name of your website in the Enter URL's list in SE Commando so that the software can pick up any pages from your website.
4. Case-sensitivity. SE Commando searches for the exact keywords and URL's that you enter. "House", "house" and "houses" will all produce different results.
5. If your site is not found within the top 50 listings, it only means that your site is not within the top 50 listings -- it could still be listed, but at a lower position. Try changing the search depth in SE Commando to 100 or 200. Be aware that this will increase the amount of memory that the program uses and also lengthen the amount of time that searches will take.
